Event Rules
Anyone participating in the Thornshire Renaissance Faire must:
1. Be Respectful and mindful of others.
2. Keep pets in hand or secured with a lead or leash.
3. Not Help others gain free Access to the Event
4. Not weald weapons in a violent or distracted manner.
5. Not unsheathe a sharpened blade longer than 3 inches outside of where they are sold.
6. Not Steal.
7. Not use drugs on the property including: Alcohol, Vape, and Tobacco.
Ticketing
All general admission tickets are available for purchase at the gate only. The only tickets we sell online are our Feast Tickets. You can purchase them on ticket page linked on the Thornshire page as they must be purchased in advance.
Parking
We offer free parking at our event. We ask that if you are coming as a group, please try to carpool as much as possible to save room for other patrons. All parking is on a first come, first serve basis. Thornshire Renaissance Faire is not responsible for any damage, theft, or vandalism. Please take your valuables with you and lock your vehicle.
Lodging and Camping
We currently do not offer onsite camping at this time. In the future we hope to, but in the meantime here are a few options if you would like to visit our faire and have more time to enjoy all it has to offer.
Eagle Park Campground: Located in the heart of Rexburg along the Teton River, Eagle Park Campground offers tent camping. With 24 campsites, Eagle Park offers amenities such as drinkable water and bathrooms. Eagle Park Campground does not allow any RV's or trailers, it is a tent only campground.
Snake River Hideout: Situated just minutes from the beautiful town of Rexburg, Idaho and just one hour away from Yellowstone National Park, Snake River Hideout is a great spot for a fun and relaxing vacation. Snake River Hideout boasts a variety of cabins to suit your needs. These include small 10 x 10 cabins with nearby bathrooms as well as larger, full-service cabins. Tent camping and pull-through RV sites are also available.
First Aid/Security
We have trained security and first aid personnel on site each year. The event is fully insured, and in the event of an incident Rigby emergency services may be notified - Rigby being the nearest jurisdiction. If you have an emergency you can contact our roving staff for help at any point - They may be identified by the black band that they where on their arms.
Customer Service
Unfortunately as this event is temporary we do not have a fully staffed Customer Service Department that runs at all times. However our "contact us" section is always active. Any questions or concerns that you might have will be addressed, and responded to eventually. For a more direct or faster response you are welcome to call or text instead.
Payment
All our demonstrations, interactive characters, questing experiences and stage shows are included in the price of tickets. While the majority of our merchants accept credit cards, we do encourage you to bring cash for those vendors or games that may not accept credit cards. Our Till service does not allow cash back but we can usually break down larger bills at the gate if one of our merchants can't.
